For this semester’s ‘Robotic Fabrication in Architecture’ course our team will be exploring foam contour crafting techniques using Tcaup’s KUKA 6-axis industrial mill. Precedents for this technique have been under development since last fall, however similar processes used in concrete contour crafting have been explored for the past couple of years, most notably in the R&Sie(n) project, ‘I’ve Heard About…’
