-Imagine, if you will, bioluminescent landscapes replacing our current technology of street lamps, business signs, etc. Not only is there the potential for a great reduction in energy costs and production, but the beautiful landscapes which could be created as a result of this change. To understand these creatures and the evolution that has created these biological machines from the bottom up through increased interest into this research will allow us to create fantastical landscapes, viewable only now through the spectacle which is the television. To truly be immersed in and explore the qualities of space which are achievable in the human habitat we must increase exploration in progressing biomimetic technologies and processes that will allow us to exist within the spectrum of all of the senses.
